Another fitness goal is reached!

I got up this morning and I do as I have done one thousand times before....... but this time I see to my suprise 199.5.

I am very happy.

CHKD 8K Today

This was a really hard race to run today. First of all it was rather hot and another thing the organization of water stops was non-existant. But we both finished the race with rather good times concidering the heat and the lack of water. Our times were as follows:

Elena: 1:6:50
Mike: 1:4:39

Help us support CHKD

We are both now offically signed up for this 8K race. This will be my first anything over 5K. We have been members of the YMCA since the end of February and I am down to 205 Lbs. I started at about 228. I have not been this lite and inshape in forever. But neither myself or wife Elena are done yet.

Elena's first 5K Race

Last Saturday we ran our first race togather.


5K Autism Awareness @ Mt Trashmore, VA Beach, VA.

I have done other 5K's but this one was Elena's first anything K and She did great!

Elena........38:57.44

Mike.........33:25.33


After the race was over Elena said that she wanted to do an 8K next, so on June 13th we are going to run in the CHKD 8K.
